He was born in Şanlıurfa in 1970. After high school education, he stepped into entrepreneurship. He started his business life at Özgüney Elektrik A.Ş. He founded his company and started with sales of electrical and electronic materials. A few years later, it added transformer sales to its portfolio. In 2005, ASTOR Transformer company was purchased by the Geçgel family and continued its transformer production activities in Istanbul. In 2015, the GEÇGEL family decided to organize all its activities in Ankara as the chairman of the board of ASTOR company. Astor Energy Inc. FERİDUN GEÇGEL, who continues his duty as Chairman of the Board of Directors, is a successful and respected businessman with the investments he has made in many areas.

He was born in 1976 in Suruç district of Şanlıurfa province. He completed his primary and secondary education in Suruç and his high school education as a boarding student in Antalya. After high school education, he graduated from Balıkesir University, Necatibey Faculty of Education, Department of Geography.
He started his business life in 2004 with sales of electrical and electronic materials at Özgüney Elektrik, and a few years later he added transformer buying and selling to his portfolio. It has stepped into the electromechanical manufacturing sector by purchasing the Bese brand transformer factory located in Ankara and starting to produce distribution transformers in this factory. In 2012, the construction of the new factory in Ankara Sincan 1st OIZ belonging to Özgüney Elektrik was completed and production continued at this address. Özgüney Elektrik company has increased its distribution transformer production capacity and sales, making it an important brand in the sector. At the same time, important electrical contracting works have been successfully completed. He continued his career as General Manager at Özgüney Elektrik company and carried out important R&D projects and high voltage level power transformers and special transformer production at Özgüney Elektrik company. At the same time, in 2018, one of the region’s first Rooftop Solar Power Plant (1 MW) (SPP) projects was commissioned and renewable electricity production started. In this process, by making unlicensed solar power investments with the companies it owns, today it has solar power plants with an installed power of over 100 MW in various provinces such as Ankara, Kayseri and Urfa. He continued his career as General Manager at Astor Enerji A.Ş. since 2017. Astor Enerji A.Ş. starting from 2022 GEÇGEL, who continues his duty as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, is a well-known and respected businessman with his investments in many fields.

He graduated from ITU Electrical Engineering Department with a Bachelor’s degree in 1990. Between 1992 and 2014, he worked at BEST Transformer as a design engineer, design manager and production manager, respectively. Hakan Ünsal, who started working as Deputy General Manager at Astor Enerji in 2014, coordinated the design, production and certification studies of Power Transformers. ÜNSAL, who played an important role in the development of the ASTOR brand in the field of power transformers, has been serving as Board Member/General Manager since September 2022.

He was born in Şanlıurfa in 1996. He moved to Ankara in 2000. After completing his primary and secondary education, he studied language in England. He graduated from Okan University, Department of Business Management in 2018. Since this date, he has worked as a Manager at Astor Enerji AŞ. He has been serving as a Board Member since September 2022.

Born in Istanbul in 1968, Tuncer Mutlucan graduated from Galatasaray High School and Boğaziçi University Civil Engineering Department. Mutlucan, who speaks English and French fluently, started his banking career in 1992 after completing his education in Istanbul Technical University’s Construction Management Master’s program. He served as Garanti Bank Luxembourg Branch Manager between 1995-2006, and Akbank NV Netherlands General Manager between 2006-2010. Between 2010 and 2015, he served as Ak Financial Leasing General Manager. Mutlucan also served as a Founding Board Member of the Financial Institutions Association.
Mutlucan, who was a board member in various institutions within Çalık Holding between 2015 and 2018, also served as a board member within Güven Sağlık Group, Active Shipping and Umur Printing Group between 2018 and 2019. Since 2019, he has been serving as a member of the board of directors of Doğanlar Holding, a member of the board of directors of Biotrend Çevre ve Enerji Yatırımları A.Ş. and a member of the Board of Directors of Doğanlar Furniture Group. Memberships of the Chamber of Civil Engineers, Istanbul Rotary Club and Turkish Industrialists continue.

Born in Ankara in 1956, İsmail Şahiner completed his Bachelor’s degree education with a good degree at Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1976. Şahiner, who started to work as Artvin Judge in 1978, served as Bayburt, Samsun and Isparta Judge until 1998. Şahiner, who worked as a judge in the 7th and 17th Civil Chambers of the Supreme Court of Appeals from 1998 to 2016, and retired due to age in 2021 from his duty as the President of the Court in the 13th Civil Chamber of the Ankara Regional Court of Justice in 2016, is a lawyer registered with the Ankara Bar Association. He actively provides legal consultancy. Throughout his business life, he gave more than 40 symposiums, panels and seminars and completed master’s studies on compensation. He gave lectures as a lecturer at the Turkish Justice Academy.

Alişan Taştan, who started his career at Sanko A.Ş. between 1991 and 1993, worked as an electrical engineer and responsible engineer at TEK Atatürk HEPP Operations Directorate between 1993 and 1998. Between 1998 and 2016, he worked as chief engineer, deputy manager and branch manager at TEİAŞ General Directorate Operations Department, TEİAŞ 20th Regional Manager (Edirne) and TEİAŞ 9th Regional Manager (Konya). He has been working as Deputy General Manager responsible for Business Development and Sales at Astor Energy since 2016.

Olcay DOĞAN, who graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 1992, completed his master’s degree in International Financial Reporting and Auditing at Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Department of Banking Finance. He has 28 years of experience in the Finance Industry. Between 1994 and 2022, he served as Inspector, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Board, Commercial Branch Manager, Department and Group Heads at T. Halk Bankası A.Ş. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Halkbank Pension Fund Foundation (2019-2022), Halk Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. (2010 – 2012), Halk Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. (2014 – 2016), Halk Sigorta A.Ş. (2019 – 2020), Halkbank A.D. He served as a Member of the Board of Directors in Beograd (2020 – 2022), Chairman and Member of the Board of Managers of Halkbank TRNC Country Directorate (2018 – 2021).

Mehmet DEMİR, who graduated from ITU Electrical Engineering Department with a Bachelor’s degree in 1990, worked as Design Engineer, Test Engineer, Design Manager and Production Manager at Transtek Transformator A.Ş. between 1990 and 2000, respectively. He worked as Electrical Project Manager at Güriş A.Ş. between 2000-2003 and at Alarko A.Ş. between 2003-2005 in Tüpraş refineries DHP and DHRP projects. Between 2005 and 2013, he worked as Design Manager and Factory Manager at Astor Enerji, respectively. He has been working as Deputy General Manager responsible for Distribution Transformers at Astor Energy since 2013.

Uğur GÖKÇE, who graduated from Kocaeli University, Department of Mechanical Engineering with a bachelor’s degree in 2002, worked at Ulusoy Elektrik A.Ş. between 2003 and 2012. He served as Production Engineer, Production Manager and Deputy Factory Manager respectively. He worked as Production Manager at Aysan Elektrik between 2013-2015 and Aykon Elektrik between 2015-2017. Uğur GÖKÇE, who worked as Production Manager at Astor Enerji between 2017 and 2020, has been working as Deputy General Manager responsible for the switching products department since 2020.

He graduated from ITU Electrical Engineering Department in 2002 and was entitled to receive a Master’s degree from the same university in 2008. In 2014, he completed his doctorate education in electrical engineering at Sakarya University. IŞIK, who started his career as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at Ereğli Iron and Steel Factories between 2003 and 2011, worked as the Manufacturing and R&D Manager at Özgüney Elektrik between 2011 and 2013. He worked as Chief Engineer at TÜBİTAK between 2013 and 2016 and started working as R&D Director at Astor Enerji in 2016. He has been working as Deputy General Manager of Investment and Technical Services since 2019. It took an active role in the R&D-centered growth strategy by coordinating the establishment of an R&D center, new factory investments and solar power plants. He has participated in more than 10 international publications, papers, symposiums and conferences.
