D activities in 2006 and its first project supported by TUBITAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) was in 2009, since then R &amp; D activities continue in a systematic manner. As a result, ASTOR received the R &amp; D center certificate in 2016. As part of its \u201cR &amp; D Centered Growth\u201d strategy, ASTOR has made great progress by placing R &amp; D to the center of all its activities.<\/p>\n<p>In this context;<\/p>\n<p>TUBITAK supported 17 projects successfully completed.<\/p>\n<p>12 projects successfully completed within the scope of R &amp; D Center.<\/p>\n<p>Within the scope of R &amp; D Center, our company continues its activities with 10 ongoing R &amp; D projects. One of the ongoing TUBITAK project is still waiting to be approved by 3 referees.<\/p>\n<p>Our company has successfully completed 1501, 1505 and 1601 programs within the scope of TUBITAK and aimed to diversify its activities in other support programs.<\/p>\n<p>Prototype of products are manufactured as a result of R &amp; D studies, drawing, analysis and original calculation programs.<\/p>\n<p>ASTOR, which has a total of 66 personnel with 47 R &amp; D Researchers, 13 R &amp; D Technicians and 6 R &amp; D Support Personnel within the scope of R &amp; D center, aims to strengthen its competent personnel infrastructure especially by encouraging graduate and postgraduate studies.<\/p>\n<p>Aware of the importance of developments in the field of basic sciences, the R &amp; D center studies are continued by encouraging the graduates of chemistry department to continue their postgraduate education.<\/p>\n<p>Our company, which follows technological developments with important international memberships such as CIGRE, improves its knowledge by participating in publications, presentations and symposiums.<\/p>\n<p>R &amp; D center personnel are encouraged by making important studies on patent and utility model applications and protection of intellectual property rights.<\/p>\n<p>ASTOR R &amp; D Center continues to work with essential universities and faculty members of our country within the framework of university-industry cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>Within the scope of ASO 54th Anniversary Awards \u201c2017 R &amp; D Center\u201d award was given by the President of the Republic of Turkey Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan. ASTOR, increased its R &amp; D center goals for 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accreditation and Quality<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our laboratory is accredited according to ISO \/ IEC 17025 standard in 2013 and is managed by fulfilling the requirements of ISO \/ IEC 17025 quality management system.<\/p>\n<p>According to ISO 14001 standard, our laboratory is managed in order to control and improve the environmental performance and is managed according to ISO 27001 standard to ensure the confidentiality and security of the information management system used in our laboratory.<\/p>\n<p><em>Our
